San Diego Spirit - Atif
August 24th - hosts the WUSA Founders Cup
1st priority to season ticket holders
2nd priority to mini flex plan ticket holders

The Spirit are soliciting various companies and/or organizations to help sponsor game tickets for disadvantaged youths (including boys and girls clubs).

Chuggar Addair- new players, local is Ally Kemp, Jen Lalor (Nielsen), Internationals are Christine Lathum and Daniella

Adult camps June 2-6th and 4-8th; by coaching staff and Spirit players; site possibilities are Robb Field, Nobel Park, Doyle Park (5-8pm)

If anyone is interested in having the Spirit players do appearances for community events, please contact Chuggar or Spirit offices

Summer Session
This summer Robb Field is not available, looking for new fields for summer session; Lindberg is available and Kearny Mesa Rec on M,W, F. Must keep going to rec council meetings to keep foot in the door for other fields. Contemplating 7aside to keep the number of teams up with the less field space. Runs from June 9th to the end of August. Huff and Puff league plays at Clairemont High and Stanley Park. Sandy will check into field availability at those locations as well. There was little/no interest in fields in east county or north county.

Rescheduled Games on 5/17
All games that were rained out (Robb 8 on March 1, Robb 8 on March 15 and Lindbergh 12:30 and 2:30 games on March 15) will have their games rescheduled on May 17. Condense games on less fields in order to save more teams from having to put up and take down nets. If you have any problems with that day, contact the scheduler.

Restructuring of the League:
Lower B division is too big. Plan for the fall 03 session would be to split current LB group and go to an A,Upper B, Lower B, C format, including over 30's A and B's.
Over 30's A player against Lower B, no slide tackling
Wanted to keep consistency with tournament groupings

Turkey Shoot
Meals on Wheels was the charity of choice; and also plan to donate to the disadvantaged kids to attend a future SD Spirit game. PWSL would get recognition at the Spirit game as a sponsor for the charity.

Irish Football Exhibition Game
Demo for new Irish football on Sunday at Robb 9, at 2:30pm. Compared to Upper B players. Looking for new players.

Miscellaneous
Lindberg goals moved to opposite side of the basketball courts - secured between the fence and cargo container.
An email went out regarding fees owed for forfeits, adds, drops. Teams were reminder that fees must be paid as soon as possible.

Referee Liasion Representative, Ray Theep
Game reports needed. Refs are not responsible for ensuring that the goals are set up in a timely manner, but are responsible for ensuring that they are set up appropriately. They are also responsible for getting the game started on time as well as checking player cards. There has been recent problems with referee tardiness. Jewelry, including wedding rings, are allowed as long as there are no safety issues (at referee's discretion). If refs are late or do not show up for game, please make sure that the referee's evaluation is submitted . Please email the information to Carole Hurst as well….to ensure that we do not pay for referees that do not show up.

Taking Down Nets
Don't forget if you are the last team, you must take down the nets, even if there is a forfeit. A $25 fine is imposed on the two teams who did not take down the nets and a credit will go out to the teams that helped put them away.

Practice/Scrimmage at the Navy Base, 32nd Street
