League Meeting Minutes
September 8, 2003
Called to order 7:00 p.m.

Information for upcoming events and miscellaneous made available
- Turkey Shoot information is available on the website; 7 out of town teams have registered thus far.
- Carole offered to go over the league budget at a future meeting if there was any interest.
- Yuki Fujii provided more information regarding the Sockers' ticket sales fundraiser mentioned last meeting. There would be a profit of $4 per ticket sold. The profit could be split between the team and PWSL if wanted. She plans to pass out the packets in the next few games at the fields to interested teams
Fall league
- Dina discussed missing items in team registration packets which need to be completed, i.e., insurance forms, pictures, original signed forms
- Player registration form reminders:
- Photo must be passport photo sized
- Photo must be in color with no hats or sunglasses
- Signature must be original (no faxed signatures)/LI>
- Form prior to signature may be faxed but must be full 8 ½ x 11 sizedl
- Forms must be mailed to Dina's house (NOT the PO Box)
- Deadlines for registration is each Saturday in order to play in the following week's game
- Player cards were received and distributed to team managers, along with list of registered players for those teams who didn't receive all their player cards
- Carole stated that over 25 players have now been picked up and there is a current list if teams are still looking for players
- Teams that have not paid by tonight will not play next week (or until paid) and schedule will be adjusted to exclude these teams
- Notify Mary Frank about any necessary scheduling requests for the remainder of the season by Monday, September 15th via email: scheduler@pwsl.org. There will be no rescheduling of games after the schedule has been completed.
- Add fees are $15, transfer fees are $5, and drop fees are $2 per player (which are payable after team has registered 22 players)
- Fall mid-season deadline to add players will be 10/12/03
- Sandy plans to call regarding poor conditions at Lindbergh field
- Second half of season will be changed to have teams other than Over-30's play on Lindbergh
Referee Liaison, Ray Theep
- Commented that teams should keep in mind that the Mira Mesa Rec Center field is oriented oddly so offsides will be based upon the AR's call
